IN AN ADVANCED AGE (POEM)

  + IN AN ADVANCED AGE +

After having passed a day- 

Feel that days on earth becoming few, 

Time is passing so speedy 

And dying up like morning dew ! 

Recollect the days passed away behind- 

Had been so cheerful jolly and full of fun, 

In the wake of responsibilities 

How far away have gone ! 

But as I stepped ahead- 

Lucky to have so many friends and admirers, 

Some filled up the heart with frolic 

Few came forward to wipe up the tears ! 

Take the promise henceforth- 

No more days to waist and skip, 

Know- it's high time to prepare 

For the ultimate and final trip !
