BOND OF FAMILY ( POEM )

* BOND OF FAMILY * 

                         -AF EKBAL. 

                         

Recall those days-  

 When we lived in a family together,  Father had been the chief of staff-  Mother, the all time commander. 

How affectionate was the scenario  

The fond brothers and sister,    

Used to play,eat and quarrel   

All together in the lovely atmosphere. 

Had been the johnny folk-    

So thick and thin but mended in love,   

Steady had been in our wants   

But soft together as the herd of dove. 

Problems and desires differed    

Steel had been bonded in inclination,  

Alas ! As we grown up-   

The net of fancy how have broken. 

Broken in the sense that   

Some staying here and some far away,  

Don't know once again   

Would we meet in the same sway !

With the passage of time-  

Stalks of family tree is being cut off,   

'We two, our one or two'-  

Is nowadays situation and stand off ! 

So much we are being broken   

So much leaving far and father,  

 Featuring to drastic wonder  

 Find none who is really can take care. 

No much fraternising no much talks        

As if being we are deaf and dumb,   

 In the wake of torn homes  

We feel shattered and numb ! 

The foundation that had been built  

 At home in a humble way,  

 Let's revive that flame-  

 Or with a ripple shall be scattered far away . 

Blood is blood, a genetic bond-  Always above any friendship,  

It's so loyal and straight   

Bounds the heart and flash too deep.
