URBAN JOYS AND SORROWS.
URBAN JOYS AND SORROWS.
A.F. EKBAL.
The joys and sorrows of the towns
Are like urban flats
Are too small and tiny
Whose neighbors not known
To each other.
For knowing and meeting
Have to go through
The watchman's register
And to have taken a pass.
Age of pleasures and sorrows too
Are too small in the towns;
Where posthumous deeds
Held simultaneously by a few near ones,
During the meeting near death bed
On the day of death.
Rest dwellers know the news
Through the newspapers following day.
Morning misery in towns
Turns happy in the afternoon,
And afternoon pleasure
Again turn sorrow in turn
Amidst the happiness.
You find in towns-
Death in one street
Ceremonial wedding in other
Anything else can happen on the third !
Urban natizens attend
Funeral procession in the morning
In the evening in poetry seminars
Or in musical night,
Can also be honored in the hour of mourning !
Townsman meet the condolence meetings
To share their common tales
To have a little break
Sparing some busy moments
Of their precious schedule.
For townsmen-
All pleasure and pain
Are there 'use and throw'
And sensations not given up
All they take place in the press notes !
